Sansevieria cylindrica, also known as the cylindrical snake plant, African spear or spear sansevieria, is a succulent plant native to Angola, thus can thrive with hardly any watering (only twice a month).
Sansevieria cylindrica has striped, elongate, smooth, greenish-grey sub cylindrical leaves. They are up to 1 in diameter and grow up to 7 ft above soil. The Spear Sansevieria grows fan-shaped, with its stiff leaves growing from a basal rosette. They can be braided or as this one left in their natural shape. Best of all, they can be almost ignored and the plant will thrive.
Great plant to have on your office desk or on the dinner table which comes ready potted in a terracotta clay pot.
